Chakras

There is deep wisdom within us, if we can only come to our senses and feel it.

Book recommendation: Please read Eastern body, western mind! I call it the bible of our Chakras :-)

Chakra’s are basically our energy wheels in the body. We all have them. There is a total of 7 Chakra’s. But what are they, what can they do for us, what are they responsible for and what can we do for them?

So these so called energy wheels start from the base of our spine and go up to the grown of our head. The seven chakra’s are called Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra and the Crown Chakra. If you are not familiar with the Chakra’s yet and you are not sure if these things really exist, I have a quick exercise for you. Let’s see if they are really there… Take a minute and try to remember the last time you felt happy. Remember the place and maybe the people you were with. Now, can you feel this somewhere in your body? How about the last time you felt really angry about something or someone, where can you feel this? Any sensation coming up? (Maybe pay attention to your solar plexus area). In regards to a certain situation, You have probably heard or even said this before: “I am sick to my stomach”, “My heart hurts”, “I feel empty”, “You are giving me a headache” etc. If so, these are all emotions that turned into negative physical feelings. When Chakra’s are not aligned they will let us know, by showing up as uncomfortable symptoms and sometimes they even turn into serious health problems. So what can we do with all of this? We can try to get to know the Chakra system and keep those wheels aligned. We are striving for balance - balance in our body and our mind. If we can manage that, we can manage to keep a healthy balance in (almost) all life circumstances.

Let’s take a closer look and get to know our Chakra’s

If we can be truly honest with ourselves and listen to the voice within, we can identify with at least 1 or 2 Chakra alignments we still struggle with. I am almost a 100% certain.

Now that we got to know the Chakra’s, we can relate and think that there is hope, we might ask ourselves what to do with this information and how can we work on a better alignment. Here is the answer: Practicing mindfulness, practicing Yoga, using affirmations and being honest with yourself are the main ingredients for a better alignment. You can start any time, actually now would be the perfect time :-)And the good thing is, you don’t have to do it alone.
